Wednesday, October 29th, 2014

“There’s always room for a story that can transport people to another place.” -J.K. Rowling.

Is your child a keen storyteller, reader or performer? Do they love Christmas and all things festive? If so, and they’re aged between 5 and 12 years of age, then this is certainly the workshop for them.

Following the popular Children’s Christmas Story Workshop in 2014, the Earagail Arts Festival in Partnership with Central Library, Letterkenny are delighted to announce the second in their annual Children’s Christmas programme, The Children’s Christmas Storytelling Workshop.

With particular emphasis on performance skills and techniques, vocal tuition, confidence building and improvisation, this course will be dynamic and fun in a unique learning environment.

The students will also have the opportunity to discuss their favourite authors and share stories, poetry and books with their peers while developing their own unique performance style.

The course will take place Saturday mornings in the Central Library, Letterkenny from 10:30-11:30am for the 5-7 year olds and 11:30 – 12:30pm for 8-12 year olds, running from 15th November – 13th December, with a final recital and storytelling morning on Saturday 20th December for family and friends.
