Earagail Arts Festival are excited to announce details of the April concert in the now highly anticipated music series, hosted by Kinnegar Brewing at the Tap Room, Rathmullan House

Kinnegar Brewing in partnership with the Earagail Arts Festival are delighted to announce an intimate performance featuring Pearse McGloughlin with support by John Muldowney on 25th April 2015 at 9pm.

Pearse McGloughlin is an artist and songwriter from Sligo, Ireland. He has released three albums to critical acclaim: Busy Whisper (2009), In Movement (2012) and Idiot Songs (2013) in collaboration with composer Justin Grounds. Pearse’s work often deals in literary and philosophical themes; Idiot Songs drew largely from Fyodor Dostoevsky’s The Idiot while In Movement reworks John Keats and Carson McCullers. His music has been described as captivating, elegant and nuanced and has featured in The Irish Times, BBC Northern Ireland, RTE 2FM, Lyric FM, Radio1 as well as at festivals such as Body and Soul, Electric Picnic and Other Voices.

The Concert starts at 9pm, with the Tap Room serving Farmhouse Beers & Wood Fired Pizzas from 5pm. Admission is €5 and tickets can be purchased via kinnegarbrewing.ie/events-2/.
